Each day, we identify one word which is launched in our collective learning session at the beginning of each day. Students will discover the definition of the word and how to use it in context, both verbally and in their written work. In lessons, teachers will, where appropriate, use and encourage students to use the Word of the Day. Over time, the Word of the Day strategy will build all students' vocabulary and develop their understanding of the English language. Please see below for todays Word of the Day:
