Family dining

Family Dining is an important part of the academy day. All students sit together with their Family Tutor; it is a great opportunity to discuss their school day outside of a classroom setting. Students are expected to be self-sufficient during Family Dining and will have individual roles which include pouring drinks, passing out cutlery and tidying up.

We value the time that Family Dining offers for students to build positive relationships with teachers and peers. Every student has someone to sit with and talk to during their lunch break and this accelerates the development of positive relationships that carry over into the classroom.
