Emma entered the teaching profession in 2009 through the Teach First Leadership Development Programme and was placed in Bradford. Emma is multilingual and can teach French, German and Spanish. She became an Assistant Head of Languages in her second year of teaching and at the same time completed a Masters in Educational Leadership.
Emma joined Dixons Kings Academy as Head of Languages in 2012. In 2018 she successfully led a bid for Dixons Kings to be selected as a DFE MFL Hub, one of only nine schools in the country.
In her current role as Vice Principal, she leads on attendance, the pupil premium strategy and enrichment.
